Aldo Mondino was born in Turin in 1938, where he died in 2005.
In 1959 he moved to Paris, where he attended the studio of William Heyter, the Ecole du Louvre and attends the mosaic of the Academy of Fine Arts with Severini and Licata.
In 1960, back in Italy, he began to show his work to the Image Gallery of Turin (1961) and the Galleria Alfa in Venice (1962). The meeting with Gian Enzo Sperone, director of Gallery Place, is crucial for his career, with a partnership still exists. Important personal are also presented at the Galleria Stein in Turin, Studio Marconi in Milan, the Galleria La Salita in Rome, the Gallery Paludetto of Turin.
Among the major exhibitions remember the two participations in the Venice Biennale in 1976 and 1993, the personal fϋr Museum Moderne Kunst – Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna (1991), the Suthanamet Topkapi Museum in Istanbul (1992, 1996), the Jewish Museum Bologna (1995), at the Civic Gallery of Modern Art of Trento (2000).
His works belong to the permanent collections of the most important national and international museums and private collections.
